The schedule for the 2019 ICF Canoe Freestyle World Championships in July has been released, featuring seven days of competition and culminating in a spectator finale under lights in Spain’s picturesque town of Sort.
The first day of competition, featuring men’s and women’s medal events in squirt competition, will be held on Saturday, June 29. A glittering opening ceremony will be held after the medal presentations.
After a competition free day of course preparation, the world’s best freestyle paddlers will be back on the water Monday July 1, with the next medals being contested on Wednesday July 3.
There will also be medal events on both Thursday and Friday night, before the final night of competition on Saturday July 6. The men’s and women’s finals will be broadcast live on several television networks.
